All organisations should be implementing Data Privacy and Protection policies and practices across the organisation, taking into account GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. But also Cyber Security Plans / Business Continuity Plans are absolutely crticial as seen by the recent activity with M&S / CoOp and many others. It is not just the big companies that are in the firing line
Training is key for all employees as Data Privacy / Cyber Security should be ingrained in their daily activities. Training is a requirement under most regulations.
New regulations in the UK and EU require all organisations to run regular testing and training for Cyber Security to prepare and mitigate the risk of Cyber Incidents.
New laws being introduced across the EU: “DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) ensures organisations follow rules for the protection, detection, containment, recovery and repair capabilities against ICT-related incidents.”
The Trust Bridge runs a number of workshops on specific issues, with in-depth discussion, case studies and practical advice and exercises. The objective is to ensure that all delegates / trainees understand the concepts and policies relating to Data Protection and Cyber Security, so that consideration of them and implementation become a natural function.
These workshops can take place in person and/ or online (via Zoom)
The key areas for consideration:
· Refresher course regarding new global Data Privacy Laws including GDPR
· Cyber Data Breaches: how to mitigate and manage them
· Risk Management
