Dave is a highly experienced Chief Information Security Officer/Cyber Security and GDPR and global Data Protection Regulation Management.

 

Consultant with a deep knowledge of Global project delivery and operational leadership. He operates across FTSE (Financial Times Stock Exchange) 100 index companies , SME and start-ups within Financial Services, FinTech, Telecoms, Technology and Utilities sectors developing strong coherent cyber security, GDPR data protection and privacy strategies.  He is the founder of GDPR Technology Forum  with over 23,000 members https://www.linkedin.com/groups/1201767

 

Dave created a Global Infrastructure for the World’s largest private trading network, Trading $3 trillion a day, and has managed Multiple Global Security Operations Centres.

Carol Tullo, OBE, LLB Barrister (Attorney), Senior Consultant and Legal Counsel

Carol is a Senior Consultant of The Trust Bridge.  Following her qualification as a Barrister (Attorney) in the UK.  Carol was, until July 2017, Director of Information Policy and Services, The National Archives in the United Kingdom. Carol was responsible for providing leadership in information management and policy across Government and the wider public sector to improve the way information is managed and exploited.

 

As Controller of Her Majesty’s Stationery Office, Queen’s Printer of Acts of Parliament, Queen’s Printer for Scotland, and Government Printer for Northern Ireland, she managed copyright and licensing of Crown data and information and delivered a range of UK wide official publishing including UK legislation. Carol was responsible for a five-year Program delivering cyber and information assurance training across Government and the public sector for CIOs and boards under a Cabinet Office/GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters) funded arrangement which ended in April 2016 when the National Cyber Security Centre came online. 

 

In addition to her legal background, Carol’s areas of expertise are Open data and access to public sector information, legal regulation of Intellectual Property, Crown copyright and database rights, media and publishing, dissemination and information accessibility. She has experience in developing standards both from private and public sectors rooted in information management and executive responsibility government information management, assurance and security. Carol had a legal career background in intellectual property practice and commercial law publishing with Thomson Reuters before she joined the Cabinet Office. Carol received the inaugural Leadership Impact Award 2017 from the Whitehall and Industry Group.

 

In December 2018, Carol was awarded an OBE (Order of the British Empire) by Her Majesty The Queen in the New Year's Honour List for services to Official Publishing related to her position as Queen’s Printer of Acts of Parliament and Controller, Her Majesty’s Stationery Office.

 

Specialism:

Compliance, Governance and integrity of data and information, its reuse and exploitation. Data enabled transformation, records and information management in government, copyright and licensing, data protection. 

Tim Mulcahy: Associate CISO

Tim is an experienced Cyber Security professional with many years of experience in leadership roles including Head of Security/CISO roles. He is a versatile and pragmatic information security leader with a background in the Telecoms, Financial Services, and Gaming sectors.

Tim has worked for both startups and some of the largest organizations in the country, where he has spearheaded comprehensive cybersecurity strategies, managed risk, and ensured regulatory compliance across diverse sectors.

With a proven track record in leading transformative projects, modernising security infrastructures, and driving innovation, he has been recognised for building and nurturing high-performing teams, optimising operations, and maintaining a commitment to securing customer trust and satisfaction.

 

Alan Davis, Director of North American Operations

Alan is the Director of North American Operations for The Trust Bridge. He is an accomplished leader with experience in the association and non-profit sector. Alan served for 18 years as the Executive Director of a national higher education association and foundation. In addition, he spent several years leading a foundation focused on victim assistance and crime prevention on college campuses. Alan is a dedicated volunteer, having served in a variety of leadership positions with organizations related to association management.

 

His experience and expertise include: 

  • strategic planning and visioning 

  • change management 

  • financial planning and management 

  • external relations and establishment of collaborative and strategic partnerships 

  • revenue generation and sponsorship development 

  • board/governance and volunteer relations, including governance restructuring 

  • staff training, evaluation and development  

Leading the Trust Bridge’s activities in North America, Alan is creating the GDRP Awareness program for us there. 

 

Penny Heyes, Chief Commercial Officer

Penny is a co-founder of The Trust Bridge and the Chief Commercial Officer. A highly experienced international sales, marketing and business development professional, she has worked in multiple product & service sectors, globally.    

 

As an experienced senior executive, she has been instrumental in the growth of several start-ups, early-stage companies, as well as multinational established businesses who wish to diversify into new areas or new initiatives. Penny has extensive general management skills: operations, business-to-business, business-to-consumer sales, marketing, business development, affiliate & affinity partnerships. 

 

More recently she has been advising clients in their Innovation in Business strategies, Crisis Management and Data Regulation, examining how technology is changing how businesses run, engage with their customers, employees and suppliers by creating an effective strategy and finding the right solution or solution partner to implement.

 

 

Dr Graham Dodgson, Senior Associate Consultant, Innovation, AI and Commecial Intellectual Property Advisor

Graham, a Senior Consultant of The Trust Bridge, is an innovative product and business creator as well as business analyst. 


An expert in technology development, sourcing, assessment, valuation and licensing and team building, Graham is an innovator in medical electronics (human/computer interfaces), advanced displays, easy to use interface concepts.  He is advising a number of companies in the AI world- development as well as strategy.


Graham’s understanding of Business Transformation and Innovation, and of developing strategy and implementation is evidenced by his wide and deep cross-sector experience. This includes senior sales, marketing and general management roles in the biomedical, electronics, semiconductor, IT and mobile technology sectors. He has significant global experience in new business development and technology licensing covering developing technical and commercial partnerships worldwide in the US, Asia and Europe.


Specialties: Strategy in high tech and biomedical businesses, M&A, international business development, Intellectual Property Audit, Valuation and Licensing. Technology Scouting, Creative Deal Making 
 

Bill Mew: Associate Cyber Consultant 

Bill is one of the world’s top campaigners for digital ethics and founder of The Crisis Team with whom we work to offer our Cyber Simulation Workshops, working alongside the UK’s top cyberlaw experts, to help firms mitigate against, prepare for and, if necessary, deal with the impact of data breaches.
A former global leader for IBM’s Financial Services Sector and strategist for UKCloud, which was the UK’s leading govtech player and the fastest growing privately held tech firm in Europe. He has extensive expertise in everything from fintech to govtech, working for firms large and small.


Bill also is a judge on the UK Cloud Awards and is one of the world’s top social influencers, striking the right balance between digital transformation ‘changing the world’ (including cloud, AI, etc) and digital ethics ‘doing the right thing’ (including privacy, security, etc).

In great demand as a spokesperson, Bill appears frequently and widely in the press and on broadcast TV and Radio talking about the need for meaningful protection, as well as the need to maximise the overall economic and social benefit from technology.

Neil Aremband, Associate Consultant  

Neil has a background as a Business Analyst and Project Manager. After multiple business analysis and project management roles, he decided to consult with senior stakeholders, specialising in data protection and compliance management. He now assists organisations to identify their high risk areas relating to personal data compliance and develops and implements mitigating actions to ensure their compliance with GDPR. He's worked across a wide range of industries in both the private and public sector.

 

Neil is helping to operationalise various strategic initiatives proposed by The Trust Bridge which will be of benefit to The Trust Bridge community
